ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Candidates must meet the following education and work experience requirements. Internships do not count toward FM experience

  • Bachelor’s or Masters level Facility Management degree with 3 years of work experience.
  • Any Degree with 5 years of work experience.
PREPARE FOR THE CFM EXAM & APPLICATION

Each candidate must complete the CFM Application before any determination can be made on eligibility requirements. All applications MUST be completed online using the IFMA Credential Application and Maintenance Program (CAMP).

Candidates should prepare for the exam before applying for approval. Once the application is approved, candidates have 90 days in which to schedule and take the exam.
